Geographical Note: Directly hiking between Kyanjin Gompa and Gosaikunda in a single day is geographically impossible due to intervening mountain ridges. The path requires descending via Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru before making the climb up to Gosaikunda Lake.


​Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350 m / 4,429 ft)

​Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Attend an evening briefing regarding gear checks, safety protocols, and route details.

​Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550 m / 5,085 ft) – 7 to 8 Hours

​Take a scenic drive along the Trishuli River through rural towns, terraced farms, and winding mountain highways to Syabrubesi, the gateway to Langtang.

​Day 3: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,470 m / 8,103 ft) – 5 to 6 Hours

​Cross suspension bridges over the Langtang Khola and ascend through dense oak, maple, and rhododendron forests. Keep an eye out for yellow-throated martens and monkeys along the path.

​Day 4: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430 m / 11,253 ft) – 5 to 6 Hours

​Ascend gradually as the valley expands, revealing panoramic vistas of Langtang Lirung (7,225m). Walk past Ghoda Tabela and reach Langtang Village, rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake.

​Day 5: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m / 12,696 ft) – 3 to 4 Hours

​Retrace your steps down the Langtang Valley, enjoying dramatic downhill mountain views through Langtang Village to Lama Hotel.

​Day 8: Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2,210 m / 7,250 ft) – 5 to 6 Hours

​Descend toward Bamboo before branching off onto the trail heading up to Thulo Syabru, a traditional Tamang ridge village offering sweeping views of Ganesh Himal.

  • Overnight: Teahouse in Thulo Syabru.

​Day 9: Trek from Thulo Syabru to Shin Gompa / Chandanbari (3,330 m / 10,925 ft) – 5 Hours

​Ascend steeply through hemlock, oak, and rhododendron forests. Reach Shin Gompa (Chandanbari), known for its tranquil monastery and local cheese manufacturing unit.

​Day 10: Trek from Shin Gompa to Gosaikunda Lake (4,380 m / 14,370 ft) – 5 to 6 Hours

​Climb above the tree line past Lauribina for open vistas of Manaslu and Ganesh Himal. Arrive at the holy alpine waters of Gosaikunda Lake and surrounding tarns like Saraswati Kunda and Bhairav Kunda.
