Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you can rest and recover from your journey or explore the lively streets of Thamel. In the evening, you will attend a detailed trek briefing with your guide, where you will receive important information about the route, safety, and preparation. You may also explore nearby cultural landmarks, temples, and local markets. Overnight stay at a comfortable hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Arughat (Drive)

Today you will begin your journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Arughat. The drive passes through beautiful countryside featuring rivers, terraced hills, forests, and traditional villages. You will witness authentic rural Nepal and daily village life along the way. The journey offers excellent views of landscapes and local culture. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Arughat.

Day 3: Arughat to Philim

The trek begins as you walk through terraced farmlands, lush forests, and charming settlements. You will cross several suspension bridges over flowing rivers and pass local villages rich in culture. The trail gradually ascends while offering views of hills and traditional Gurung communities. Philim is a beautiful village known for its hospitality and scenic surroundings. Overnight stay at a tea house in Philim.

Day 4: Philim to Chumling

Today’s trail ascends gradually through dense forests and peaceful mountain paths. You will pass through small traditional villages and experience the unique culture of the Tsum Valley region. Chumling is a quiet and scenic village surrounded by mountains and Buddhist heritage. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of Ganesh Himal and nearby peaks. Overnight stay at a tea house in Chumling.

Day 5: Chumling to Nile

The trek continues along riverside trails, passing mani walls, chortens, and Buddhist monuments. The environment becomes more alpine as you gain elevation. You will witness strong Tibetan Buddhist influence in architecture and lifestyle. Nile is one of the last settlements near the Tibetan border and offers incredible mountain scenery. Day 6: Nile to Mu Gompa

Today you trek to Mu Gompa, the highest and most sacred monastery in the Tsum Valley. The trail passes through alpine meadows and remote Himalayan terrain. Mu Gompa is a peaceful spiritual center where monks live and practice Buddhism. You can explore the monastery, learn about Buddhist traditions, and enjoy breathtaking Himalayan views. Overnight stay near Mu Gompa.

Day 7: Mu Gompa to Lokpa

The journey descends through beautiful alpine landscapes and forest trails. You will enjoy panoramic views of majestic mountains including Mount Manaslu and surrounding peaks. The trail offers a mix of natural beauty and cultural experiences. Lokpa is a peaceful village surrounded by forests and mountains. Overnight stay at a tea house in Lokpa.

Day 8: Lokpa to Philim

Today you continue descending along familiar valley trails toward Philim. The return journey allows you to observe the landscape from a new perspective. You will notice changes in vegetation, climate, and village lifestyle as you descend. The trek offers beautiful views of rivers, forests, and hills. Overnight stay at a tea house in Philim.

Day 9: Philim to Arughat – Drive to Kathmandu

You will descend from Philim to Arughat, completing the trekking portion of the journey. From Arughat, you will drive back to Kathmandu through scenic countryside. Upon arrival, you will transfer to your hotel and have time to relax. You may explore the city, enjoy local cuisine, or shop for souvenirs. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Final Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure. This marks the end of your incredible journey through the Tsum Valley and Manaslu region.
